Gather1 Greece exists to help give access to the good news of Jesus Christ to those who may not have had access to Him or had limited access in their home countries.

Greece is now hosting around 90,000 refugees who have fled from their home countries due to war and religious, social, and political persecution. Many arrived by small boats on the Mediterranean. They all have left family, friends, and belongings to seek a new start to life in Europe.
what we do
In Greece, we have a team making disciples of all nations. At the Abana (Father’s) House, our team meets with refugees to answer questions about Christ, conduct Discovery Bible Studies, hold Prayer meetings, host meals, and teach language lessons.
no time lost
The process from when they arrive in Greece to when they have proper documentation to get a job can take several years. In the meantime, Gather1 seeks to be a light to the refugee community. We seek to assist with integration, provide a safe place in the Abana House to ask questions about God, life, and family, and provide opportunities for discipleship.
